Consumer Rights for Digital Content

Under Directive (EU) 2019/770, Directive 2011/83/EU, the applicable Latvian consumer protection legislation, and other relevant European consumer laws, consumers normally benefit from a fourteen (14) day withdrawal period for distance contracts.

However, where the purchase concerns digital content supplied other than on a tangible medium, the statutory right of withdrawal ends once digital delivery has begun, provided that:

the customer has expressly requested immediate performance;
the customer has expressly acknowledged that digital delivery will begin immediately; and
the customer has acknowledged that, once digital delivery begins, the statutory fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal is forfeited.

By completing an order and requesting immediate access to the purchased digital content, the customer expressly provides these acknowledgements and consents.
